overwhelming

Well I got a second job at frischs so now I'm working two jobs going to school and taking care of Evan. It's so overwhelming; I just feel like I'm overworked and underappreciated. Next month I have to pay for drivers ed which is $300 and come up with the money for a car somehow too.

This is weekend I'm babysitting for Val so that will be an extra $50 to add to my $200 checks, I'll be able to pay the rest of the $125 that I owe on a laptop I bought, and hopefully pick Evan up some wipes and baby body wash. I still have to buy Evan some more winter clothes and hopefully get me some too; becuase it's getting cold out already.

I just don't really have a whole lot to say I'm just not to happy right now but I wanted to update so I'll write later.

Things just keep getting better.

Well, I got my first paycheck, $116 and $91 after taxes. I'm going to pay for drivers ed with my next check, I'm putting in $150 and so is my dad. I bought Evan some winter clothes and spent about $30 and am going to get him a coat and boots next month sometime. A really nice man saw me and josh walking Evan yesterday and stopped and asked us if we needed a stroller or a crib and we said yeah, and we got a crib and two nice strollers free =)

My mom said she would sign the marriage papers! She told my sister that if I keep my job and if Josh gets a job she will. My neighbor across the street has worked at mcdonalds for like 20 years and she said that Josh would like his job back there and set him up to talk to the hiring manager Tammy and she said she'd fax his application and paperwork to the supervisor and try to get him rehired and she said she'd give him as many hours as possible. So if everything goes as good as I'm hoping we'll be married by January and in our own place.

Evan has his first dentist appointment on the 16th which I'm so excited about, I have to make him his 15 month appointment too. He's been walking all over the place and he's getting bigger and bigger, I'm so happy. I've been babysitting a little boy who's 15 months old and him and Evan are "friends" but Evan is a bit of a bully so I don't know how it will go.

Well I'm going to get off of here and I'll keep updated =)

A little update

Well I only get two days of work this week but it's the morning shift (yay!) from 11:30-2pm wed and sat. I talked to Louise and she said I'd be getting more hours after my first couple weeks so hopefully that will happen =)

If you didn't already know my dad has cancer, it started in his lungs and is now in his kidney, lier and brain. He has been going through radiation and chemo since about january, on and off. I feel like maybe he won't get through this, I notice him getting weaker everyday and it's been very painful for the whole family so I just ask for your prayers.

Today was my first day back to school, well the computer lol. I take american government, english, consumer math, psychology, computers and applications, and physical science this semeseter; I'm very happy with my classes and did almost a weeks worth of work today so I won't have to worry about it.

Josh made the presidents list at his college; he's gotten A's in both classes he's taken so far, and also perfect attendance. His last class he got the highest grade in the class so I'm very proud of him for how well he's doing.

I'll update soon, I'm sure I'm missing something but it'll be in the next blog if I did =)

Introduction to chelsea miracle.

To begin, my name is Chelsea. I am 16 years old I do homeschooling through OCA and I just got my first job at wendy's. I live in Ohio, which I am ecstatic about leaving btw. I don't like to get my hopes up, that only makes it worse when things start crashing down. I'm not thrilled with my living situation at the moment but soon enough I will be in an apartment with my son and my boyfriend and we will be a family.

August 5, 2007; my crush, josh asked me to be his girlfriend. He moved here from Virginia in June 2007 and that's when I met him. He has had a hard life, and I could tell. But he was amazing, beautiful and intelligent; it wasn't long before I was in love. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and I wanted to help him become the person he couldn't be before.

December 24, 2007; I found out I was pregnant. 14 years old on Christmas Eve a positive pregnancy test staring at me, to be honest I wasn't shocked. I told josh and he stayed with me and assured me we would get through everything together; my mother wasn't as sure. Understandably she was upset but carrying anger like that for too long can really make me people hate you. She ruined any respect I had for her and she did everything in her power to keep me and josh apart. I figured after the baby was born she'd see what good parents we were and put her disappointments aside.

June 22, 2008 was the greatest day of my life, thus far. My son Evan Alexander Johnson was born, weighing 2lbs 14oz 16.5 inches long; he was 9 weeks premature (31 weeks gestation) He spent a great deal of time in the NICU of Miami Valley Hospital but he is now a healthy one year old, and the progress he has made has been amazing.

Now; I am 16 with a 13 month old son and a 17 year old boyfriend. We aren't' allowed to stay together and we have been working so hard to get our own place and get on our feet, everyday brings us one step closer.

Here is my goal list as of June 2008:
July-Sep (Job)
Oct-Nov (car, drivers ed)
Dec-Jan (apartment, marriage)

I now have a job, I start Tuesday... Which is one thing off the list.

I'll be updating often.
